• The popular audience is going to have a lot less knowlegde of a topic than what the academic audience would.
• The popular audience is what an everday person will know about a topic.
• They might not allways feel that credible sources are needed when finding information.

Acedmic Audience

• The academic audience is very differnt from a populare audience.  The academic audience consist of those people who know more about the topic than an everyday person may know. 
• The academic audience would also research and learn from a reliable source, and only a reliable source. 
• They like to know more than the average audience, they want to be specific about the topic.
